PARABISE PINES UNITS N0. 10, ].1 & 15 ASSESSI~3~NT
D~S~RICT, BUTTE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WI3ER~A5, on the 2Dth 8ay of Ju1y, 1971, the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Butte, sta~e of California, adopted
its Reso}.ution of Inten~ion for the improvements and acquisitions
in Paradise Pines Units vo. 10, 11 & 15 Assessment District, Butte
County, CaZifornia, and referred said improvements and acquisitions
to the Director of Public works of the County of Butte as Fngineer
af Work for said assessment district; and
wHEREAS, said ~oard of Supervisors directed that sa~.d
Engineer of tivork make and file wa.th the County Clerk of the County
of Butte, a report in ~ariting in accordance with the prova.sions and
rec~uirements of the Municipa7. zmprovement Act of 1913 of the State
of Ca~ifornia; and
W~iEREAS, said Engineer of jvork did, on the 20th day of
~uly, Z971,~ file wi~h ~he County Clerk of the County of
Butte, a report in accordance with the said resolution, and said
County Clerk has presented the report to this Board for consideration;
NOW, THEF2EFORE, B~ IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, and this Board hereby
finds:
1.. That the report mac3e and filed by the Engineer of
Work on the 20th day of July, 1971, contains a11 of the require-
ments provided for said report by the provisions ofi the Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913, inclvdinq (1) specifications; (2) plans
and pro£iles and estimates o~ cost; (3) assessment diagram and assess-
ment; (4) descriptions ot easements and/or rights-of-way to be acquired.
2. That said report, and each and every part thereof,
is sufficient in every particular, and i.t is hez'eby detez'm,i.ned tha-k
. said report shall stand as the report for a7.1: subsequent proceed-
ings under said Ntunicipal Improvement Act of 1913; and

BE Ti FURTHER RESOLVED that Tuesday, the 2~th day of
August, 1971, at the hour of 10:30 o'cZock,A.M, of said~day, a~
the meeting place of the Board of Supervisors of the County o~ Bu~te,
lacated in the &utte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, is
hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing protests with re~.a-
tion to the proposed irn~rovements and acquisitions described in said
report; that any person in~erested in objecta.ng to said improvements
and acquisitions, the grades ~o which the caork wi.ll be done, or has
been done. the ext~nt of tlze assessanent district, the assessment,
or the engineer's estimate of cos~ and expenses, or any other act
or de~ermination of the Board o£ Supervisors or the Enga.neer of F7ork
af tk-e assessment district may file pro~est in writing with the
County Clerk of the County of Butte ati or before the hour fixed herein
for hearing thereon; and
BE IT FUP.THER F2~SOLVED that the Co~nty Clerk of the County
of Butte be, and he is hereby, directed to publish a Notice of Im-
provement pursuant to Section 6066 of the Government Code of the
State of California, the first of sahich said nofices to be first
published a~ least twenty (20) days prior to the date herein set
for hearing of protests; and

the requirements of Sections ~.0302 and 10303 of the f4unicipal Im-
provement Aat of 1913; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that no~tices of the adoption of
the ResoZution of Intention, and filing of the Engineer's Report

shall be mailed, postage prepaid, to al~ persons ownin~ real prap-
erty to be assessed whose names and addresses aonear upon the last
equalized assessmen~ roll for taxes, or are known to the County
Clerk. Said notices shall contain the matters required in Section
10307 of the Municipal Improvement Act ot 1913 of the State of Calitornia
~E IT FURTF~~R R~50LVED that ~his Board hereby prelimin-
arily orders that tihe imnrovements and acquisitions described in
the Resolution of ~n~ention be had and done in accordance with the
plans and specificatiions and arofiles for said G/OYk. The plans and
specifications with said renort are hereby adopted as the plans,
profiles and specificatxons for the doing o£ sai8 wozk and improve-
ments, and said Board hereby orders that bids shall be received for
fhe doing of said work and improvements on the lOth day of. August,
1971, at I1:00 o'clock A.M.o£ said day. Sai1 bids or proposals shall
be delivered on or before 11:00 o'clock A.M. on~the 10th day of A~gust
1971, at the me~ting of the Board of Supervisors df ~he County of Butte,
Bu~te County Caurthouse, Oroville, California, which said time and
p~ace are hereby fixed as the time and place of a public meeting
at which said bids w~ll be publicly op~ned, examined and declared
by the County Clerk of the County of Butte. Said bids after being
pubZicly apened, examined and declared, wi11 be calculated by the
~nqineer of Work, his ~eport returned to the Count~ Clerk and the
report of, the results of the bidding and the calculations of thE
Engineer of work will be repor~ed to the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Bu~te.

The Board of Supervisors resetves the right to reject any
and all proposals or bids should it deem this necessary for the public
good, and also the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or un-
faithful in any former contract with the County of Butte.
