BUTTE COUNTY FAIR
WI-I~RPAS, Section 4481 of the California Agricultural Code
~rovides that County Fair monies may be deposited into and expended from
a commercial bank depository and Sections 29320, et seq. of the California
Government Code provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution,
establish a revolving #und, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Butte County Fair and
the Manager of the Butte County Fair have indicated that establishment of
a revolving fund will expedite the efficient and oxderly conduct of the
financial affairs of the Butte County Fair for the period of the annual
public exposition, and,
WI-IEREAS, the A~ditor-Controller of the County of Butte has
determined that litigation of such a revolving fund is consistent with
standard accounting and auditing procedures,
NOW, THEREF~AE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte that a revolving fund entitled "Fairtime Revolving
Fund" be established, subject to the following conditions:
1. Expenditures made from the revolving fund shall
be limited to:
a. Attendence Operations (including change funds)
b. Entertainment Activzties
c. Special cash prizes
d. Professional services during fair time.

2. Deposits to the fund shall be made in the following
manner:
a. $10,000.00 deposited 10 days prior to opening
of fair.
b. Additional deposits as required during course
of fair ^ot to exceed a total expenditure of
$22,000.00.
3. Discontinuance of fund, final accounting for
expenditures and return of unexpended fund balances
to the county treasury shall be accomplished on
the first day after closing of fair.
4. Disbursements from fund to be made on signature
of the Fair Manager or the President of the Fair
Board of Directors.
