RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO A GUARANTEED ANNUAL ~.L~~~-'-
WHEREAS, there is presently before the Congress of the
United States a p~oposal to substitute the present welfare system
with a program consisting in part of a guaranteed annual wage,
WHEREAS, ~h~,s Board is opposed to this concept.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. '~hat this Board opposes the substi.~ution of the

2. Co~aes of this Resolution be sent to the Honarable
Alan Cranston, United States Senator, Honorable .7ohn Tunney, United
States Senator, and the Honarable HaroZd T. "Bizz" Johnson, Member
of the House of Rep~esentatives and to other persons as this Board
may direct.
