BE IT RESOLVED by ~he Boarc~ of Supervisors of the Coun~y
of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. Petition for the construction of improvements to be
made by special assessment proceedznas caithin the baunc~aries of
the map designated, "Proposed Boundaries of Paradise Pines Units
No. 12, 13 & 14 Assessment District, Butte County, California,"
which said map is on file in the office af the County Clerk of the
County of Eutte, is incorporated herein by thi.s reference as though
fully set forth herein.
2. The Certificate of ~IiE I~URRi~X-MCCOI~.'°IICK EPdVIRONDSENTAL
GROUP, dated the 3rd day of ~ugust, 1971, certifying ~hat the petition
hereinabove referred to was signed by the owners of more than sixty
per cent (60~) of the area af the property described in said peti-
tion, is incorporated herein by this reterence as thnugh fully set
forth herein.
3. It is hereby ordered and determined ~ha~ assessment
district proceedings shall be insti~uted in accordance with the
terms of said petition.
4. It is hereby found, detexntined and ordered that the
pirector of Pub3.ic Works o~ the County of sutte sha11 be Enaineer
pf WOrk, and that THE A1UPRI~Y-MCCOItt•iICK ENVIRONMEP7T~L GROUP shall be
the Project Engineer in accordance with the terms and conditions of
the contract to be entered into. It is further ordered that Stuzga.s,
Den-Aulk, Douglass & Anderson, ~ttorneys a~. Law, Oakland, Californa.a,
shall be 5pecial Bond Counsel to prepare all proceedings in accord-
ance with -the terms and conditions of the con~.ract to be entered
into.

5. Said district shall be known and designated as
Paradise Pines Units No. 12R 13 & 14 Assessment District, Sutte
County, California.
6. The district which shall bear the cost and expenses
o£ said improvements, including all incidentaZ expenses, and which
is to be assessed to pay for the cost theren£ is that district shown
on a map whzch is on file in the office of the Coun~y Clerk of the ~
County o£ Bu~te, which is designated, "Proposed Boundaries o£
Paradise Pines Units No. 12, 13 & 14 Assessment District, Butte
County, Galifornza."
7, Sazd special assessment grviceedings are ~o be taken
under the provisions of the Municipal Imorovement Act af 1913, with
bonds to be issued under the provisions of~the Improvement Act of
1911.
~ 8. The owne~s of property within the boundaries of said
proposed district have waived all investigation proceedings under
the 5peciai Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Ma3ority Pro-
test Act oF 1931.
9. No contract for the construction o~ improvements in
this assessment district shall be awarded until improvement bonds
are sold and de~ivered and the proceeds of such saie are deposited
with tha County T~easurer.

I HEREBX CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State ot California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the 3rd day of August, 1971, by the following votie, to wit:
