DETER3~iINING PUBLIC CONVENI~NCE AND NECESSITY IN
PARADIS~ PINES LT~ITS N0. 12, 13 & 19 ASSESSMENT
DISTFtICT, SUTTy COL':1TY, CALIFORNIA
WFIEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the Caunty of Butte,
State of Caiifornia, has adopted a mag showing the boundaries of
proposed Paradise Pines Units No. 12, 13 & 14 Assessment Aistrzct,
Butte County, California, which said map is entitled, "Proposefl
Boundaries of Paradise Pines Units No. ~2, 13 & 14 Assessment
District, Butte County, California;" and
WHEREAS, the owners of more than sixty per cent {60€)
of the real property within the boundaries of said proposed assess-
tnen~ district have waived a1T investigation proce~dings under the
5pecial Assessment Tnvestigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
,~1ct af 1931 and have zequested that said Act shall not be appli-
cable to these proceedings;
NOTrt, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
i. That Tuesday, the 14th day of 5eptember, 1971, at
the hour of 1G:30 o'cloc;c A.M. of said day, is hereby fixed as the
day and hours and the meeting p3.ace of the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, located in the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville,
California, as the place, when and where any and all persons inter-
ested may appear and show cause why the ~soard of Supervisors should
not find and deterinine that the public convenience and necessity
require the said proposed improvements to be made in said groposed
assessment district, without compliance with the psovisions of the
Specia]..Assessment ~nvestigation, Li.r.tztation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931.
2. The County Clerk of the Connty of Butte is hereby
directed to give notice of the time and place of said hearing in
the following manner:
By publishing a Notice of Improvement, said publication
~ to be not less than ~0 days priar to the date o£ said
hear~ng;
By posting a copy of the Notice of Improvement at or
near the place of inee~ing of the IIoard of Supervzsors
tor five (5} flays prior to the time of said hearing.
