Section 26906, may, by resolution, authorize the auditor to ac~ in
lieu of and with the same authority as the board of supexvisors in
ordering the return of certain monies erroneously paid into the
county treasury,
NOW,'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte does hereby authorize the County Auda.tor
to ~ake such refunds in li.eu of and with the same authori~ey a.s the
board; with the provision that the auditor sha11 periodically, but
not less than annually, file a report with the board ~.isting all
such refunds, pursuant to the authority of Government Code 5ectfon
