of Ass~mbly Bill 1056,
WHII2EA5, this very lengthy and comprehensive legislation
completely re~organizes all elements of environmentaL control
into one agency,
WHIItEAS, this legis~ation also effectively removes ~ocal
control by locally elected o~£icials and replaces this control
with appointed officials, especially in regards to air pollution
controlo
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board:
la That this Board opposes Assembly Bill 1056 and
respectfully requests that this iegislation be defeated by the
Legislature.
2, Copies of this Resolution be sen t to the Honorable
Fred Marler, State Senator, Honorable Ray Johnson, State Assemb~y-
man and to such other parties as this Board may direct,

RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO ASSEMBLY BILL 1056
