Smith to allow the abandonment of a portion of a public highway as
described below,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority vested in this Baard
under Goverrunent Code §50430 et seq, this Board wishes to abandon
a portion of said public highway as described below.
NOW, THERE~"dRE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board:
1, Tha~ this Board finds that said portion of said
public highway is unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
2. That said pub].ic highway as hereinafter descxibed
is hereinafter abandoned and vacatedo
30. That said pu.blic highway is situated in th,e County
of Butte, State of California, and described as follows: to wit:
A portion of Sacramento Street and also a portian o~
Taylor Street ~ying in the Town of Nord, as shown on
the map entitled "Town of Nordn' recorded in Book 1
at Page 8 in Maps of Records in the office of the
Recorder, County of Bu.tte, State of California.
Being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
That por~ezon of Sacramento Street lying south of
Jackson Street being wes~ of and paraliel with the west
line of Block J, Town of Noacd, also t~Zat portion of
Taylor Street lying west of Market Street, being south
of and parallel with the south line of Block J,
Towz~ of Nord.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board a~' Sv.per~
visors this 10th day of August, ~971, by the follo~aing vote:
