WHEREAS, this board is in receipt of ~utte County Planning
Commission Resolutian Noo 71-1 approving the hereinafter described
Amended Butte County General Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §65355, hearings
have been he].d by the Board.of Supervisors to consider amending the
general plan to con~ain those elements shown in Exhibit GuA" attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, this board finds that amendment of the Butte
County General Plan in the abaveMreferenced particulars will promote
the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the Coanty
o~ Butte,
NOW, THFREFORE, BE IT RESQLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, that the General Plan
o£..the County of Butte be amended to incorpora~e ~rherein those
amendments shown in Exhibit "A~C, attached he~eta,
BE IT F'URTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant tr~ Government Code
§65359, the General P1an of the County of Btitte be endorsed to show
that the amenclments contained in Exhibit ~4A~Q have been approved by
this board,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to Government Code
§65360, a copy of this resol.ution, together with a copy of the maps
and na~rative showin g the above-mentioned amendments be transmitted
to the City Councils of the cities of Butte Countyo
