1ZESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO ASSENIBLY B2LL 515
WHERE.AS, ~hi.s Board has been made aware of the provisions
of Assembly Bill 515~
WHEREAS, Assembly Bi11 51S sets up another tier o£
government which is unnecessary,
WHEREAS, said bill establishes a regional council ~o
resolve matters that can be bet~er handled by the elected represen»
tatives of the people involvedo
NOW, THEREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board:
l, That this Board opposes Assembly Bill 515 and re-
spectfully requests that this legislation be defeatedo
2o Tha~ a copy of this resolution be sent to the
Honorable Fred Marler, Senator, Honorable Ray Johnson, Assemblyman
and to such other parties as the Board may direct.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Super-
visors this 17th day of August, 1971, by t~e following vote:
