R~SOLUTION OF AWARD OF GONTRACT, PARADISE PINES

WHEREAS, by resolution adopted on ~he 4th day of May,
1971, i~ was direCted that bids be called £or the improvement work
to be done in Pazadzse Pines Units No. 4 and 8 Assessment Dis~rict,
Butte County, Ca~.ifornia, and tha~t the ~ime fixed for receiving sealed
bids or proposals was the 2~th day of May, 1971, at the hour of I.1:00
o'clock A.M. ot said day; and
WHEREAS, I~otice Invi.ting Sealed Bids was duly published in
the time and manner required by lavr; and •
WHEREAS, all bids having b~en publicly opened, examined and
declared pertaining to the doing of the work and improvements described
in ~the Resolution of Intention, which Ttesol.ution of Zntention is hereby
expressly referred to for a descrip~tion o£ said improvements, and for
a11 other particulars relative to the proceedings under said Resolutzon
of Intention; and '
WH~REAS, the Board of Supervisors ot the Coun~y of Butte,
State of California, on ~he 22nd day of J'une, 1.971, ordered the improve-
ments to be made in said assessment district;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT I5 HEI2EBY RESOI~VFD that the Board of
Supervisors ofi the County of Butte, S~ate of Califo~nia, hereby rejects
all_of said proposals or bids, except that herein mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for said improvements to th~ lowest responsible
bidder, ~o wit:
BALDWTN CONTRACTING COMPANY, ZNC., a corporation,
doing business under the fictitious name and
s~yle of BUTTE CREEK ROCK CO.,
at the pra.ces named a.n ~he bid of said biddez on file a.n the office of
the County C1erk ot the County of Butte.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resol~tion wad duly
and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Coun~y of
Butte, S~ate of California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the 17th day of August, 1971, by the ~ollowing vote, to wit:

NOES: Supervisors; None
