RESOLUTION ESTABL~SH.ING COUNTY SERVICE AREA
TO BE ENTITLED "@COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 42"
(Government Code §§2527.0,1 et seq)
WHEREAS, hereto~o~re, on the 13th day of Julv , 1971~
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Bu~.te, State of California,
adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention to establish
a county service area to be entitled ~oCOUNTY SERVICE ARELa N0. 42"; ancl
WHERE,AS, said Resolution fixed the 17tlalay of ~August ,
1971, at 11:00 a m., of said day, in the Board of 'Supervisors Room
of fihe Butte County Courthouse, in the City of Oroville, State of
California, as the time and place ~or the public hvaring on the
establishYnen~ of said area; and
WH~ItEAS, said board, at said time and p]ace, proceeded to
hear arguments both for and against the establ~.sYunent of said area; and
WHEREAS, no writ~n protests against the establzshment
thereof were filed in accordance with §25210.17 of the Goverrnnent Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board af Supervisors
of the County o~ Butte, State of California, as follows:
l. That•said Board hereby finds and determines that pro~
ceedings herein were conducted pursuant to §25210.1 et seq ot the
Govexnment Code, and that publication and notices were gi.ven pursuant
thereto, and that said Board finds and determines that the extent to
wh~ch the services described in the Resolutian of Intention are
extended county services;
2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said
county service area,
3. That the boundaries of said service area are hereby
finally determined and established as the same as are shown on
Exhibit "A", attached hereto, and incorporated h.erein by rea~erexice
and made a part of thisx~~~olution,

4. That the name of said servzce area ~so established is
"COUNTY SEI~VICE AREA I30 . 42" .
5. That the type of extended county serva.cas to be pro-
vided wzthin said area is for the purpose of design,and studies nf
a road pursuant to Government Code ~25210.4(a).
6. That a tax sufficient to pay for all s~ch services
which are furnished on an extended basis shall be annually levied
upor~ a11 taxable property within saic~ area.
7. That said county service area is established for all
pur~oses subject only to compliance with the requirements of Chapter
8, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code and subject to the
provisions of Ar~icle 2.5, Chapter 2.2, Part 2, Division 2, Title 3
of the Government Code of the State of California.
