WHEREA5~ heretofore, on tne 13thday of July , i971,
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention to establish
a county service area to be entitled x~COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 43"~; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution fixed the l~t~ day of August ~
1971, at 11:00 a.m,, of said day, in the Board of Supervisors Room
of the Butte County Courthouse, in the City of Oroville, Sta~e of
California, as ~he time and place for the public hearing on the
establishment of said area; and
WHEREAS, said board, at said time and place, proceeded to
hear arguments both for and againsC the establishment of said area; and
WHEREAS, no wra.tten protests against the establishment
thereof were filed in accordance with §25210,17 of' the Government Code,
NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1; Th.at said Board hereby finds and determines that pro-
ceedings herein were con.ducted pursuant to §25210,1 et seq of the
Gove~nment Code, and that publication and noti.ces were giv~ipursuant
thereto, and that said Board ~inds and determines that the extent to
t,rh~.ch the services described in the Resolution of Intention are
extended county services;
2. That said Board hereby deternnines~.to establish said
county service areao
3. That the bowridaries of said service area are hereby
finally determined and establish.ed as the same as are shown on
E~chibit "A"~, attached here~o, and incorporated herein by reference
and made a part of this resolu~ione

4. That the name of said servic e ares so established is
"'COiJN:~Y SERVICE AREA N0. 43"",
5. That the type of extended county services to be provided
within said area is the study, design, construction, maintenancey and
the operation of a sanitaxy sewer service pursuant to Government Code
§25210o4(a),
6, That a tax suf~icient to pay for a~1 such servfces
which are furnished on.an extended basis shall be annually levied
~pon all ~axable property within said areao
7e That said county service area is established for aJ.J.
purposes subject only to compliance with the requirements of
Chapter 8, Division2, Title 5 of the Government Code and subjecttD
the provisions of Articie 2,5, Chapter 2a2, Part 2y Division 2,
~'itle 3 of the Government Code of the State of California.
