This matter came on regularly for hearing before
the Board of 5upervisors of the County of Butte, State of Californiaa
on August 24y 1971y in tha Supervisors' Room of the Butte County
Courthouse fronting on Hwntoon Streety in Oroville~ California9
Butte County, and it appearing to said Board that a Notice of Inten-
tion and Resalutian to l~bandon a Public High`,ray and Notice of Time
and Place o~ Hearing of said Abandonment was duly and. regularly given
as requzred by lawy and testimony and evidence9 both oral and
documentaryi having been produced at said hearing, from whzch said
Board now finds that the hereinafter described Public Highway is
unnecessary ~'or present and prospective use;
NOW, THEREF012~~ IT IS HEREBY QRDERED as follows:
1, That ~he Public Highway situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, as hereinatter more particularly
described9 is hereby abandoned,
2, That the description ot said Public Highway so
abandoned is situate in the County of Butte, Sta~e of Ca~.ifornia, and
more particularly descxibed as follows:
'That certain 50,00 foot strip of land known as a porCion.of
Morseman A~enue and being a portion of Lots ~,69 17, 27 and 2S9
as shown on that certain Map entitled "HOBART SUBDT'VTSION OF
THE A.ANIEL BIDWELL RANCHO1°9 whi~ Map ~,ras filed in the office
of the Recorder of the Coanty o Butte~ State o£ Californiay on
November 7y 19a4, in Book 4 of Mapsg at page 249 and being
more particularly described as follows:
COMNIEENCING at the Northeast corner of said Lot 17 and running
thence Northeasterly along the centerline of Lassen Avenue
a distance of 25,00 feet; thence Southeasterl.y and parallel
to the Northeasterly lin.e of said Lot 17 a distance of
25000 feet to the true point of beginning for the parcel
herein described; thence trom said true poin~ of beginning
Southeasterly along the Northeasterly Zine of said 50,00

5outheasterly line of said Hobart Subdivision; thence South-
westerly along said 'Southeasterly line to the Sauthwesterly
line of said 50,00 toot strip;
Thence Northwesterly along said Southwesterly line para11e1
