WHEhEAS, the County of Butte desires to undertake
~utte County Drug Contro~ Resource Center to be funded in part fram
funds made available through the Omriibus Crime Control and Safe
5treets Act of 1968 administered by the California Council on Criminal
Justiceo
. NOT+1', THIItE~"dRE, BE ZT RES~LVED that as the California
CounciJ. on Criminal Justice has consented to fund the above project,
the County of Butte agrees to accept the grant and designates ~he
Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to execute on behalf of the
County ot Butte the contract for the grant for 1aw enforcement purposes,
BE IT FURTHER RESOI.VLD that the appli~ant agrees ta
provide the required matching funds to said p~ojecto
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant ~unds received
hereunder shall not be ased to supplant ongo~.ng lata' enforcement
expenditureso
