RESOLUTION 0~7ERRULING PROTESTS
WHEREAS, on the 20th day o~ Ju~y, 1971, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California~, adopted it5
resolution fixing time and pZace ~or hearing nn the Engineer!s Report .
in Paradise Pines Units No. ~0, 11 & 15 Assessment District, Butte
County, CaZifarnia; and
WHE?tEAS, said resolution fixed the 29th.day af Augus~, 1971,
at the hour of 10:30 o'ciock A.M. of said day at t~e meetinq place
of ~he Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, located in the
Bu~te County Courthouse, Oroville, California, as the time and place
foz hearing protests with relation to the proposed improvements and
acquisitions described in the Engineer's Report, th~ gra~es to which
the work will be done, the extent of the assessment 8istrict, the
assessment or the Engineer's ~stimate of Cast and expenses, or any
other act ox determination of the Engxneer of Work of said assess-
ment district; and
WHEIZEAS, protests or objectzons were filed in writing by
certain persons, firms or corgoratzons who wexe interes~ed in certain
o~ ~he property within the boundaries a~ said dis~rict, which said
protests or oUjections were delivered to the Coun~y Clerk not later
than ~he hour set £or hearing such objectians; and
WHEREAS, a~ the time set for heazxng the protests and
objections, said Board of Supervisors of ~he Coun~y of Butte contin-
ued the hearing to Tuesday, the 31st day nf August, 197i, at the houx
of 10:30 o'clock A.M.; and
WHEREAS, on the 31st 8ax of August, 1971, said hearing
was held and a~l of the pro~ests or objections of every k~nd and nature
having been heard and duly considered;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT iS HEREBY RESQLVEb by the Doard of
Supervisors of ~he County of Bu~te, S~ate of California, that a11
of said pro~ests and objections of evez}r kind or nature be, and the
same are hereby, overruled or denied; and
IT TS HER~BY FURTH~R FtESaLVED that the Board of Supervisors
finds that said protests and ob}ections are made by the owners of
less than one-halfi of the area of the praperty ta be assessed for
said improvements.

T HEREBY CERTIFX that the ~ozegoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the Boazd of Supervisnrs o~ the County of B~ztte,
State o£ California, at a regu~.ar meeting thereof, held on the 3~.st
