AN ORAINANCE PROHIBITING THE
SPRAYING OF WATER ON HIGHWAYS
IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTEF STATE
OF CALIFORNIA
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, Do Ordain as follows:
SECTION:,I, Any person owning or having in his
possession or control any sprinkler or spray, who shall permit
the water therefrom to spray, sprinkle or otherwise fall upon
any roadway, as defined by Section 530 of the Vehicle Code of
the State of California, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty
(30} days after its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15} days after its passage and adoption,.shall be
,published once in a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
State of California, together with the names of the members
voting for and against said Ordinance.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 7th day of
August, 1961,
