WHEREAS, the County of Butte and the City of Oroville
have consolidated the Oroville library system with the Butte Count~r
library system effective August l, 1971.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'~ RESOLVEU by ~his Board:
1. That this Board approves the attached application
and the plan of service for the system and authorizes the Lib~rarian
of the County of Butte to execute same and submit same on behalt
of tl~e County o£ Butte.

and is organ3.zed to expedita a11 requests. Thase which are w~answered are
g~.ven to t,he North S~,ate Cooperativs Library Sy~stem clerk for processing
through ~+T% ao~munication to other libraries. In additian to the Systena
de~very service batween libraries, Butte ~ounty Librazy maint.a.ins a
r1eli.very servics twice a~reek to branches, and ro~.ation of branch collections
at reg~x.l.ar intervals. The consalida~ed library, which is twa miles from
Haadquar~ers, wi.1l receive additi.onal del.i.veries daily or as need~d.
