WHEREAS, a portion of the oId Oroville-~entz-Magalia Bond Highway,
is no longer necessary or required for road purposes; and
WHER~AS, pursuant to t[~e SYreets and Ha.ghways Code, Section 960.1, the
I Board £inds that a portion of Che old Orovil7.e-Pentz-Magalia Bond Highway
~ should be summariJ.y vaca~ed,
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bq ~he Board of Supexvisors of tfie
I County o~ Bu~Ce, State of California, as follows:
The following-described portion of the oId Oroville-Pentz-Magalia B.ond
Highway is hereby summarily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets &
Highways Code Secta.on. 960.1:
Being a porti.on of the north~rest quarter af the southeast quarter of
Section ~.8, T2ZN, R4E, NIDB&1+~, more particularly descxibed as foilows:
Commencing at the south quarter corner af the above said Section 18; thence
N 0°23`43"W, along the west 7.i.ne of said southeast quarCer of Section 18, foz
1~687.64 feeti Co the southwest coxnex of that certain parcel conveyed to Mex7,e E
Ki7.lian~ by deed recorded Ju7.y 22~ 1966, in Book 1436, ati page 408~ Butte County
Official Records; thence leaving said west line of the southeast quarter o~
Section 18, and along the south line of said Killian parcel N 89°OZ'S3"E,
339.42 feeC tio the easterly righf o~ way line of 1'enCz~I~aga7.ia Highway (forme~7,y
Oxoville-Pentz-Magalia Highway) as described in that cer~ain deed to Butte
County recorded October 18, 1930, i.n Book 217 of Deeds, at page 434, Butte
Countiy Official Recoxds; thence Leaving said south line of Killian parcel,
nortihwesterly along said eastez7.y right of waq line} along the arc of a'non-
Cangent 270.00 foot radius curve (radial line to said curve at this point bears
S 48°00'19"[d)~ through a central angle of 22°17'3I", for 105s05 feet to khe
TRiFE POINTOF BEGTNNZNG of the herein-described parcel; thence from said TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING, continuing northwesterly along said easterly right of way
line, along said arc of a 27Q.00 ~oot radius curve, through an angle of
24°39'12", £or 116.18 feet; thence leaving said easterly righC of way line
S 27°11'15"FI~ 94.93 feet; thence S 62°48'45"E 65.40 feet to the THUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
