RESOLUTION AUTHORZZING USE 0~' HIGHFIAY USERS TAX
FUND TO SETTLE 'TEIE CASE OF CLACK vs. STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, et al __
BE TT RESOLVED that this Board autho~izes the settlemen.t in
the case of .Iames H. Clack vs. State of Califo~n.ia, et a1,.=Sacramento
County Superior Court No. 138726 in the amount of $3,500.00 and
expressly authorizes the State of California through its Depaxtment
of Public Works to pay that $3,500000 from the Highway Users Tax Fund
(Streets and Highway Code Section 2I00 et seq), to be deducted from
funds to be otherwise received by this Cov.nty this fiscal year.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, Sta~e of California, this a6th day of ~ Ortober , 1.971,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Gilman, Madigan, Maxon, McKillop, and
Chairman ReynoJ.ds
