RESOLUTION FQR SFJMMARY ABANDONMENT FOR A
PORTTON OF CANYON DRIVE
WtIE1i.EAS, a portion of Canyon Brive is no longer necessary or required
foz~ road purposes; and
WHEREAS, pursuan~ to the Streets and Highways Cofle, Section 960.9,
the Board finds that a portion of Canyon Drive should be sizmmarily vacated,
NOW, THEREF'ORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors o£ the
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
The £ollowirsg-described portion of Can.yon -x~.ve zs hereby summarily
vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets and Ha.ghways Code Saction 960.1:
A portion of the westerly hal~' of Canyon Drive (60 feet wid.e) adjacent
to Lot 11, as shown on tlta~ certain map entitled, !'Official Map of Oroville-
Wyandotte k'r~ Lanc~s Unit No. 2'; which map was recorded in the of~ice o~ the ite-
eorder of the County of Su~t„ State of Calzfornia, on March 7, 1927 in Book '1'1
of Maps, at pages 11 and 12, descra.bed as fallows:
A parcel of land bounded on the east by the centerline of said Canyon
Drive; bounded on the west by the westerly ~.ine of said Canyon Drive; bounded
on the north by the north line of Section 12, T19N, R./~.E, NIDB&M and bounded on
the south by the .~ollowing-described line:
Beginning at a point in. the centerline of said Canyon Drive, from said
point of beginning the northeast cornez~ of said lot 11 bears N$°20t37"I~T, 275•72
feet; thence from said Point of Beginning southwesterly along the arc of a non-
tangent 369.00 foot radius curve, concave to the west (radial line to said point
on said cu'rve bears N 89°02'23"~), tk~xough a central angle o~ 17°25t52", a dis-
tance of 109.52 feet to the west line of said Canyon Drive.
Re9erving ~'rom the above-described parcel a public ut il.ity easemen~
over, under and across and thz~ough the property described herei.n.
