RESOLUTION CANVASSING VOTES CAST AND ASCERmAII~IiV~
AND DECLARIIQ~ RESULTS OF SPECIAL B~1QD ~~,k~CTION SN
BUmTE COUNTY SERVICE AREA NQ. 26.
GJHEREAS, 'the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte has dul.y passed and adopted on August 3, 1971, Resolution
No. 7J.-].6J. calling a special bond election in Butte County
Service ~lrea No. 26 on September 28, 1g71, for ~he purpose of
submitting to the qualified electors thereof' the measure here--
inafter specified; and
WHEREAS, notice of said eleetion was thereafter duly
given as required by law and by said resolution, as more fully
appears from the affidavits on file with this Board of Super-
trisors; and
WHEREAS, it appears that said election was duly held
in accordance with law and with said resolution on September
28, 1971, as afnresaid, tihat the polls fbr said election vrere
kept open during tihe tiime requir~d by law; anfl that said elec-
tion was helfl and conducted, and the votes thereat received and
canv~ssed and ~he results thereof ascertained, determined and
declared, all as provided by th~ laws of the S~ate o~' California
and by said resolutiion; and
WHEREAS, on this date 'this Board of Supervisors met
at iEs usual mee~in~ place and has canvassed the returns o~' said
alecta.on as required by law, and th~ result of said canvass
is found to be as hereinaFter sta'ted and set forth;

SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTT~, AS FOLLOWS:
l. The foregoing recitals are, and each of them is,
true and correct, and this Board so finds and determines.
2. At said election held on Tuesday, September 28,
1g71, the followin~ measure for incurring bonded indebtedness was
submitt~d to ~he qua~ified electors of Butte County Service Area
~o. 25 and the number of votes cast and the number of votes
counted for and against said measure (~ncluding absentee votes)

4. Al1 absen~ voter ballots have been duly received
and canvassed in time, form and manner as required by ].aw, and

6. The Clerk is hereby instructed to enter this
resolution on the minutes of this Board of Supervisors as a
statement of the result of said election.

resolution duly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of said
County, at a regular rneeting of said Board duly and re~ularly
and legally held at the regular meeting place thereof on
November 2, , 1971, of which mee~ing all of the
members of said Board had due notice and at which a majority
thereof was present.
At said meeting said resolution was introduced by
Supervisor Maxon and read in full, and iaas there-
upon, upon motion of 5upervisor Maxon , seconded
by Supervisor Madi~an , adopted by the following vote:
AYLS: Supervisors Gilman, Madigan, Maxon, McKillop, and Chaz~man

or rescinded since the date of its ar~option, and ~he same is now
in full force and effect.
