RESOLUTION SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR IiEARING FOR.
DETERMINING PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY IN
P.~RADISE PINES COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES UNITS NO. 1, 2 AND 3
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, BUTTE COUNTY, CALik'QRI~FiA __
WHEREAS,-the Board of Supervi.sors of the Coun~y of Butte,
State of California, has adopted a map showing the boundaries of
proposed Paradise Pines Country Club Estates Units No. 1, 2 and 3
Assessment District, Butte County, Califnrnia, which said map is
entitled, "Proposed Boundaries of Paradise Pines Country Ciub Estates
Units No. l, 2 and 3 Assessment pistrict, Butte County, California;"
and
WHEI2EAS, the owners o~ more than sixty per cent (60~)
of the real property within the boundaries of said proposed assess-
ment district have wazved all investigation proceedings under the
Speciai Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931 and have reqvested that said Act shall not be appli-
cable to these proceedings;
NOW, THEREk'ORE, BE IT R~80L'V~D by the Board o€ Supervisors
af the County pf Bu~te, State of Cali~ornia, as foilows:
l. Tha~ Tuesday, ~he Z4th day o£ December, 1971, at
the hour of 10:3Q o'cl.ock A.M. of said day, is hereby ~ixed as
the day end hour, and the meeting place of the Board of Superva.sozs
o~ the County of But~e, located in the Butte County Courthouse,
Oraville, Californza, as the place, when and where any and all
persons in~erested may appear and show cause why the~Board of super-
visors should not find and determine that the public convenience
and necessity regui.re ~he said proposed improvements and acquisitions
to be made in sai.d proposed assessment district, witlzout compli-
ance with the provisi.ons of the Special Assessment Inves~igation,
Limitation and Majoxity Pro~:est Act o£ 1931.

2. The County Clerk of the Gounty of Butte is hereby
directed to give natice of the time and plac~ of said hearing in
the £o~lowing manner:
By publishing a Notice of Improvement, said publica~ion
to be nat less than ten (10) days prior to the da~e of
said hearing;
By posting a copy of the Notice af Impzovement at oX
near the plaoe oF meeting of the Board of Supervisozs
for five (5) days prior to the time af said hearing.
