RESOLUTION IN 1`IEMORY OF CI~ARLES WILLIAM (BILL) AND~RSON
WHII2EA5, this Board was grieved to learn of the death of
CHARLES WILLI.AM (BII;L) ANDERSON, Constable of the Oroville Judicial
Disrrict, and
WHEREAS, CHARL~S WIZ.,LIAM (RILL) ANDF~SON was Constable
tor the 4rovi1le Judicial District since Noveinber, 1967, when he
was appointed by the Board o~ Supervisors. He was re-elected in
1968, and
WHII2EA5, CI~RLES WILLIAM (BILL) ANDERSON was active in
the Butte County Peace Otticers Association and a past secretary of
the Exchange Club of Oroville.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super-
visors a£ the Caunty of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby memoralizes its appreciation
of the meritorious services rendered to the County of Butte by
CHARLES WILLIAM (BILL) ANDERSON during his lifet~.me.
2. That the condolences and heartfelt sympathy of
this Board be extended to his wife Mary and that the C1erk of this
Board ~orward a certified copy of ~his Resolution to her,
3. That the regu~ar meeting of this Board held on
November 9, 1971, be adjourned in memory of CHARLES WILLIAM (BILL)
ANDII2SON.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte Coun~ty Soard of
Supervisors this 9th day of November, 1971, by the tollotaing vote:
