REPORT, SETTING PUBLIC HEARItdG AND CALLIATG FOR BIDS,
pA,RADISE PINE5 COUiVTRY CLUB ESTATES UNIT NQ. 4
ASS~SSMENT DISTRICT, BUTTE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
FIHEREAS, on the 14-~h day of December,"1971, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California~ adopted
its Ftesolution of Intentzon for the improvements and acquisitions
in Paradise Pines Country C].ub Estates Unit No. 4 Assessment Distra.ct,
Sutte County, California, and referred said improvements and acqni-
sitions to the Director.of Public Pdorks of the County of Butte as
Engineer of Work for said assessment district; and
WHEREAS, said Soard of Supervisors directed that said
~ngineer of Work make and file with the County Clerk of the County
of Butte a report in writing in accordance with the provisions and
requirements of the MuniczgaY Improvement Act of 1913 of the State
of CaZifornia; and
WHEI2~AS, said Engineer of Work did, on the 14th day of
Decembez, 1971, £ile with the County Clerk of the County o~ Butte,
a repdrt a.n accordance with the said resqlu~ion, and said County
Clerk has presented the repart to this Board for consideration;

of the County of Butte, State of Califarna.a, and this Board hereby
finds:
1. That the report made and filed by the Engineer of Work
on the 14th day of Decenlber, ].371, con~ains a13. of the requiXements
provided for said seport by the pravisions of the t~iunicipal improve-
ment Act of 191,3, including (J.) specifications; {2) plans and

profiles and estimates of cost; (3) assessment diagram and assess-
ment; (4) descriptions of easements and/or rights-of-way to be acquired.
2. That said report, and each and every part thereof,
is sufficient in every particular, anfl it is hereby determined that
said repost shall stand as the reporti for alI subsequent proceed-
ings under said Municipal Tmgrovement Act of 1913; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Tuesday, the lst day of February,
~972, a~ the hour of ~0:30 o'cloak A.M, of said day, at the meeting
place of tihe Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, located
in the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, is hereby fixed
as the time and p~ace.for hearing protests with relation to the pro-
gosed improvemen~s and acquisitions described in said report; that
any person interes~ed in objecting to said improvements and acquisi-
tions, the grades to which the work wili be done, or has been done,
the extent of the assessmen~ district, the assessment, or the engi-
neer's estimate af cns~ and expenses, or any other act or determina-
tion of the Board of Supervisors or the Engineer of Work of the assess-
ment district may.file protest in writing with the County Clerk of
the County of Butte a~ or before the hour fixed he~ein for hearing
thereon; and
BE IT ~URTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County
of Butte'be, and he is hereby, dire.cted to publish a Notice of Im-
grovement pursuant to Section 6066 of the Government Code of the
State of CaZifornia, the fixst of which said notiCes tio be fixst
published at least twenty (20) days prior to the da~e herein set
for hearing of protests; and
~E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Glezk of the
County of Bu~te be, and he is hereby, further directed ~o cause Notices
of Improvemen~ ~o be posted on all of the open streets within the
district described in the Resolutian of Int~ntion at not more than
three hundred feet apart on each street so posted in accordance

with tHe ~equirements af Sections 103Q2 and 10303 of the Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notices o~ the adoption of
the Resolutian o€ Yntention, and filing of the Engineer's Report
shall be mai~ed, pastage prepaid, to all persons owning real prop-
erty to be assessed whose names and addresses appear upon the last
equalized assessment roll for taxes, or are known to the County Clerk.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board hereby pre~imin-
arily orders that the zmprovements and acquisitions described in
the Resolution of Intentzon be had and done in accordance with the
plans and specifications and profiles for said work. The plans and
specifications with said report are hereby adopted as the plans,
~ profiles and specifications fdr the doing of said work and impzove-
mentis, and said Board hereby oxders ~hat bids shall be received for
the doing o£ said work and improvements on~the llth day of January,
1972, at ~1:00 o'clock A.M. of said day. Said bids or proposals
shal~ be delivered on or before 11:00 p~C~6Ck A.M. of the llth day
of January, ~97.2, at the office ot the County Clerk of the County
of Butte, Butte County Courthouse, Qraville, California, which said
time and pZace are hereby fixed as the time and place of a public
meeting at which said bids wi11 be pub~ic~y opened, examined and
declared before the Board o£ Supervisors by the County Clerk of the
County of Butte. Said bids after being publicly opened, ~xamined
and declared, wi~l be calculat~d by the Engineer o£ Work, his report
~ returned to the County Clerk and the zeport of the results of the
bidding and the calculations o~ the Engineer of Work will be reported
to the Board of Supervisors of the Coun~y of Butte.

The Board of Supervisors reserves the rzght to reject any
and all proposals or bids should it deem this necessary for the publ~c
good, and also the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or un-
faithful in any former contract with the County of ~utte.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regulariy adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on'
the 14th day of December, 1971, by the £ollowing vote, to wit:
