RESOF.~UTI~N OF AWARD OF CONTP.AC~, P~1RFtDISE PINES
UNITS NO. 12~ 13 & 14 ASSESSM~NT DISTRICT,
BUTTE COUNTY, CA~IFORNIA
WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted_on the 3rd day of
August, 197i, it was directed that bids be called for th,e improve--
ment work to be done in Paradise Pines Units No. 12, 13 & 14 Assess-.
ment District, Su~.te County, California, and that the rime fixed
for receiving sealed bids or pr.oposals was the 24th day of August,
].971, at the hour of 11:00 o'clock A.M, of said day; and
WHEP~AS, Notice Invzting Sealed Bids was duly published
in the tzm~ and manner required by la*a; and
WHEREAS, all bids having been publicly opened, examined
and declared p~rtaining to ~he doa.ng of the work and improvements
described i.n the Resolution of Intention, which Resolution of Inten--
tian is hereby expressly referrecl to for a description of said improve-
ments, and for all other p~~ticulars relative to the pzoceedings
under sazd Resolution of Intenta.on;, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State af California, on the 14th day of SEptember, 1971, ordered
the improvements to be made in saa.d assessm2nt district;
PIOW, THEREFORE, ~T IS HEF~EY RESOLVED that the Board of
5upervisors o£ the Caunty of Butte, State of California, hereby
rejects a1~, of said proposals or bids, except that herexn mentioned,
and hexeby awards the contract £or said improvements to the lowest
responsible bidder, to wit: B1~F.,Dt~~IN CONTRACTING COPRPANY, INC. , a
corporation doing business under the fictitious riame and styl.e ot
BUFTE CR~~K ROCK CO., at the prices named in the bid of sai.d

2 HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
