ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 13522
OF THE PENAL CODE RELATING TO TRAINING OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
do ordain as fo]1ows:
Seation 1. The Cnunty of Butte declares that it desires to qualify
to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions of
Chapter 1 of Title ~., Part 4 of the California Penal Code.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section. 13522 of said Chapter 1, the County
of Butte while receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to said
Chapter 1 will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established
by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its
passage, and before the expiration of fifteen days after its passage it
shall be published, with the names of the members voting for and against
the same, at least once, in the Oa~ovslle.;P~erc.ur~r ,a: newspaper published
in the County of Butte.
ADOPTED AND PASSED by the Board of Supervisors, of the Ccunty of Butte,
State of California, on the 1$th day of September, lgbl, by the following yotea
