of California sets forth the rights of p~blic employees to join
organiza~ions of their choice and to be represented by such organiza-
tions in employmen~ relations with the publxc agency, and;
WHEREAS, But~e County Resolution 68-2~~ estab~ishes
standards for the recognition of employees' associations, and;
WH~REAS, the Butte County ~mployees' Association and the
California Nur~ses' Association have been recognized under the pro-
visions of §35~0 et seq of the Governmen~ Code, State of Cali~ornia and
the ~utte County Empk•oyer-Fanployee Relations Resolution 68-211, and;
WHIItEAS, the Butte Counfiy Employees' Association and the
California Nurses' Association have filed application for renewal
of recognition for the calendar year 1972, and;
WHEREAS, the applications for renewal are in compliance
with the provisions of §3500 et seq of the Government Code, State
o~ California and the Employer-~nployee Resolution No, 68-211 of the
County of Butte,
NOW, THER~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that recognition ~or
calendar year 1972 is renewed for the Butte County Employees'
Associa~ion and the Californi.a Nurses' Association.

~risors thi.s 18th day of January, 1972, by the following vote:
