IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by ~he Board of Supervisors of the County o~
Butte, State af Cala.fornia, that Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized
and directed to execute Right-of-~9ay Certifica~ion No. 2 dated FebrLisr 29,
"l972, 9.n the name of the County of Sutte.
Be it f~rth.er resolved that the County o~' Butte agrees to ho1d. the
S-~a~e of Galifornia harmless from any l~.abi.7.ity which zuay result in the event
the right of way is not clear as certified. ~f the State is named in a damage
suit, as a result of the right of way no~ being cJ.eax as certified, the Count~
of B~tte agrees that, at the requast of the State~ it wa.7.1 assume full respon-
sibi~ity for the conduct of ~he defense or provic~e such assistance as th.e
State may require and will pay any judgments issued against the State and a1Z
costs in connection with the defense.
