Cali€ornia has a program of provtding fishing access to public wate~s
by makiag certain capFtal imp~ovemenES thereon for the ber~efit of tha
publ ir, and ,
YNEREAS, such a program of constructing such i~trovements withtn
the County of 8utte, State of Catifornia, would benefit the people .
of the County and the State generaliy by the development of our natura
rasources; and
YHERFAS. such fishing atcess developments have been proposed in
the County of eutte ;
NOW TH~REFORE 8~ IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte that said Board go on record in favor of the
development of said fishing access areas within the County of ~~~te
by the State of California by and through the Vildlife Conservation
Board and ihat the 8oard of Supervisors agrees, in the event that
capital improveme~ts are aade thereon~ Lhat said County of Butte
triZl assume the maintenance and operation of said areas and improvement
BE 1'f FURTHER RESOLYED that.the WFldtife Conservation Board of
the State of Ca}ifornia be advised that thA Board of Supervisors Mill
coope:ate fully in such coordinated projects for the Couniy of Qutte
and that a copy of this resolutlon be forwarded"'~o said Wildlife Con-
servation Board. ~
