RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF LINDSEY VAN 'TONGEREN
WHERE.AS, ~hzs Board was grieved to learn of the
death of LINDSAY VBN TQNGEREN, retired manager of the Oroville Area
Chamber of Commerce, and
WI-iEREAS, LINDSAY VAN TONGEREN had been the manager
oi the o~o~~ii~ Chamber o~ Commerce since 1960, and
WHEREAS, LINDSAY VAN TONG~REN was a life member in
the Califarnia Association of Chambers of Commerce Executives.
NOW, Tf-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Calitornia, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby memoralizes i~s apprecia~
tion af the meritorious services rendered to the City of Oroville
and the County of Bu~te by LZNDSAY VAN TONGEREN during his lifetime.
2, That the condol.ences and heartfelt sympathy of
this Board be extended to his wife ~e1yn and tha~ the C1erk of
tha.s Board forward a cer~ified copy of this Resolution to her.
3. That the regular meeting of this Board held on
March 8, 1972, be adjourned in memory o~ LINDSAY VAN TONGERE~I.
