held within fi.he City of Chico an eJ.ect~on ~or the purpose of voting
a proposed amendment to the City Charter, which amendment is set
fo~th in Chico City Council Resolutipn No, 110 71-72, and
WHEREAS, the Chico City Council in said resolution has
requested this Board to consolidate said e~.ection with the statewide
Primary Election to be held June 6, 1972e
NQW, THERF~'ORE, BE IT ORDII2ED AND RESOLVET) BX THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNI,i9, as ~oiio~s:
1. That said election is to be conso].i.dated with the state-
wide election to be held on June 6, ~.972.
2. That the ret~.rns of said elections sha~l be canvassed,
or caused to be, by the County Cl.erk o~ Butte County and certified
to the Chico City Council. Further, said consolidated elections
' shall be held in a~.J. respects as tlzough they were onl.y one election.
3. That the expenses of the elections attributable to said
City of Chico e~.ection shall be charged to the City of Chico.
