OF SPECIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT EL~CT~ONS, WI~'H THE
PRIM:9RY II,ECTIQN TO BE HELD JUN~ 6, 1972
WH.IIZEAS, the Board of Trustees of the Marysville Joint
Unified School District, located in parts of both Yaba and Butte
Countzes, has called and ordered to be held in said district on the
6th day o~' Jut~e, 1972, an election to increase the maximum tax rate
from $2,66 to $3.61 per $100 of assessed valuation, for the school.
year 1972-73, th.e revenues of which are to be used for general school
purposes,
WI3II2EAS, the Yaba County Board of Education has called and
ordered to be held within its school districfi, including a part of
Butte County, on the 6th day of June, 1972, an election for a member
ot the Yuba County Boa~d of Educatfon from Trustee Area No, 7,
WHEREAS, fihe Yuba County Committee on School Distrfct
Organization has called and ordered to be held within the Marysville
Joint Unified School District of Yuba and Butte Counties, on the 6th
day of June, 1972, an election for approval o£ a proposal calling for
the rearrangemen~t of the trustee areas that comp~ise the Marysville
Joint Unified School. District of Yuba and Butte Counties, and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has been
requested to consolidate the above elections with the statewide
Primary Election to be held June 6, 1972.
NOW, THII2EFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RESOI~V~D BY TH~ BOARD 4F
SUPIItVISORS OF TIiE COUNTY OF BtJTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
1. That said elections are to be consolidated with the
statewide election to be held on June 6, i972,

2. That the returns of said elections shal~ be canvassed,
or caused to be, by the County Clerk o~ Butte County and certified
to ~he governing board calling the election, Further, said consoli-
dated elections sha11 be held rn all respects as though theq were only
one election.
3. That the expenses of the elections atfirib~table to said
school district elections sha~l be charged to the school districts
involved.
4. That where necessary a separate form of ballot will be
used fo~ said schoo~ district elections, and the form ~or the
separate ballot will be s,upplied by the Yuba County Clerka
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 21st.day of Mareh, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisor Madigan, Ma~con, ~ZeKillop, Reynolds and
Chaxxman Gilman
NOES: None
