that on ~'ebruary 24, 1972, a petition for the recall of
Supervisor McKillop, Aistrict Number 1, was filed, and that said
petition was duly signed by 936 quali~ied ele~tors;
W'TIEREAS, the Bu~te County ,Clerk has certified to this
Board that on March 2, 1972, a supplemental petition for the
recall of Supervisor McKi~.J.op, District Number 1., was filed,
and that said petition was duly signed by 85 qualified electors;
WHEREAS, the Butte co~ty cier~ ~~ cert~.f~.ed to this Board
that on February 24, 1972, a petition for the recall af
Supervisor Reynolds, Distra.ct Number ~, was fi].ed, ar~ithat said
petition was duly signed by 1,106 qualified electors;
Wf-TEREAS, ~he Butte County Clerk has cerkified to this
Board that on Mar ch l, 1972, a supplemental pe~ition for the
recall of Supervisor Reynolds, Dzstrict Nurnber 4, was filed,
and that said petition was duly signed by 91 qualified electors;
NOW, THIItEFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED BY T'HE BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as
follows:
1. That elections be held within the appropriate
supervisorial districts for the purposa of voting on sai.d
rec~ll measures.
2. That said elections are to be consolidated with the
statewide election to be held on June 6, 1972, Further, said
ORDER AND RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPER_
VISORS, COUNTY OF BUTTE, CALLING FOR RECALL
ELECTIONS AND CAUSTNG SANIB TO BE CONSOVIDATED
WTTH THE PRIMARY r"~ECTION TO BE IiELD .NN~: 6, 1972
consolidated e~ections shall be held in all respects as though
they were only one election.
3. Tha~ the measure be put on the ballot in a form
approved by the Butte County Counse~'s Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 21 day of March, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors niadigan, P~axon, McKzllop, Reynolds and
Chairman Gilman
