WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter
3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board of
Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
es~ablishment of a county service area within the County of Butte;
and
WHEREAS, the LOCAL AGIIQCY FORMATION COMMISSION of the
County o~ Bu~te has approved the estabLishment of said Service Area
Na. 44.
NOW, THERE~'OR~, it is hereby resoJ.ved:
1. That a county service area is proposed to be establish-
ed under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated
area of Butte County; the boundary lines of the terrztories proposed
for inclusion in the area are more particularly described in
~xhibit "A'~ attached hereto and made a part hereof by re~erence as
though fu1ly set forth verbatim and at 1.ength.
2. That ~the name proposed for said county service area is
County Service Area No. 44.
3. That there are no extended county services provided in
thzs area.
4. That the types of extended cou.nty services proposed
to be provided in this area are: sanitary sewage service, street
liglhting and storm drainage facilities, located within the boundaries
of the area described herein.
5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such services which
are furnished on an extended basis wi~.l be annually levied upon
all taxable property wzthin such area.

6. That on April 26, ~972 at 7:30 p.m., a publze hearing
wili be held on the estab~ishment of said area at the Chico
Municipal Court, 655 Oleander, Chico, Ca~ifornia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervzsors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 22na day of March
