WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors finds it to be in the best
interest o~' the people of the County of Butte to change from the
tood commodity program to the food stamp programy
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE IT RESO~,VED that this Board:
1. Respectful].y ~equests that the County of Butte be allowed
~.o switch from the food commodities program to the food stamp
program.
2. That the effecti.ve date of the change will be as soon as
the change can be completed by both the County and the app~opriate
Federal and State authorities.

this 16th day of May, 1972, by the following vote:
