Resolution re7.aCing to tkte CONSTRUCTION OF SAF'ETY EENCING ON TI~ BUTTE
C6TJ~ITY ~'AIItGROUNDS~ GRIALEX~ CALxFORNLA
WHEREAS, the State of California Public Woxks Board approved on
ATTESIT;
Septembar 27, 1971., the construction of Grandstand Restrooms and Fenca.ng
at the Butte County Fairgrounds, and;
WHEREAS, The Birector of Agriculture has allocated the sum of
Twenry Six Thousand DoJ.Iars {$26,000) to the County of Butte by ~xecuti.ve
Order F 71-50 in payment for said construction, and;
WIIEREAS, the restroom phase o£ the project has,been completed,
and now proposes to complete,the fenczng pE~ase, and;
WAEREAS, the Board of Directors o£ the Butte County Fair has
approved ehe employment of Donald R, Long and Associates as designers and
engineers of the Safety ~'ence Project;
1VOW, THEREFORE, BE TT ktESOLVED SY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TIiE
COTINTY OF BUTTE~ STATE~ OF CALIFORNIA, as followso
lo That the retaining of -onald R. I.ong and Associates as recommended
by the Fair Board of Directors be and is hereby appxoved,
2, That upon approval of pians and specifications by tE~e Butte Couney
Aepaxtment of Public Works and the Fair Boaxd, and upon receipt of an
acceptable bid the Board of Supervisors w~.il transact contrac~.s for the
comp7.etion of the Safety Fence Projecto
The foregoing Resolution was introduc~d by Supervisor M CK11 1'Op'~
who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervi.sor Madi~an , and
said Resolution was passed Chis 23rT3: Day of May ___
1972 on roll call by the following vote;
Ai'ES: Superviso~~ Madigan, Ma~on, McKillop, Reynol.ds-, and?
Chairman Gilman.
