RESOLUTION AMENDTNG 1V0. 62-5 RELATTNG TO
SICK LEAVE BEt~EFITS
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
have been requested to establish a policy to campensate employees
~or unused sick ~.eave upon termination, and
WH~REAS,the Board has investigated practices in this
and similar areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Butte, State of California, that Section 9.2
of Resol.ution 62-5 be amended by add~.ng thereto the following
provision.
"Upon retirement or termination in good standing an
employee who has on accruaJ. more than thirty(30) days
of sick leave ~kaalt be compensated for that portion
over ~hirty (30) days at one half (2) his normal rate
of pay up to a maximum of ($1,000) one thousand
dollars."
This resolution shall take effect July 1, 1972.
