WHEREAS, a portion of khe Pentz-Cherokee Road is no longer necessary
or requ~red for road purposes; and
WHERF45, pursuant to ~he StreeCS and High~cvays Code, Section 960.1, the
Soard €inds ~ha~ a portiion of ehe Penez-Cherokee Road should be summarily
vacated,
NOW~ THERF.FORE' BE IT RESO~VE- by the Board of Supervisors of the
Goun~y of Bu~ze, S~aCe of Califo~'nia~ as follows%
The following-described portiion of Che Pentz-Cherokee Road is hereby
summarily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets & Highways Code, Section
960,1:
A portion of the south half of ehe southeast quarter of Section 19,
T21N~ R4E, NIDB&M, described as followso
All that portion of the Pentz-Cherokee Road bounded on Che south by the south
Line o€ said Section 19, and bounded on the northwest by the southeasterTy
line of ~haC cer~ain parcel (ORO-537-A) conveyed to the County of Butte by
deed recorded April Z6, 1968, in Book 1513 at Page 618, Butte County Official
Records,
Excepting and reserving anq existing easement and/or franchise right at any
time, or from time to time, to maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and
enlarge the existing publ.ic utility facilities and facilities incidental
thereto, including access to protect the property from a11 hazards a.n, upon,
and over the highway herewith abandoned."
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
