WHERF..4S~ heretofore, on the 25th day of July ~ 1972y
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention to establish
a county service area to be entit3.ed 6TC0UNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 45"; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution fixed the 25~h day of July ,
1972, at 1;.30p,m., of said day, in the Bcs"ard of Supervisors Room
of the Butte County-Courthouse, in the Ca.ty of Oroville, State of
California9 as the time and p].ace ~or the public hearing on the
establishment of said area; and
WHEREAS, said Board, at said ~time and p~ace, proceeded to
hear arguments both for and against the establishment of said area; and
WHEREAS, no written protests against the estabJ.isl~ent
thereof were fi~.ed in accordance with §25210.17 of the Government Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT` RESOZVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as fo7.lows:
1. That said Board hereby f.inds and determines that
proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to §252J.0.1 et seq of the
Government Code~ and that publication and natices were g~ven pursuant
thereto, and that said Baard finds ancl determines that the extent ~o
which the services described in the Resolution of Intention are
extended county services;
2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said
county service area,
3. That the boundaries of said service area are hereby
finally determined and estab~.ished as the same as are shown on
Exk~ibit ",ArT, attached hereto9 and incorporated herein by reference
and made a part of this resolu~tion,

4o That the name of said service area sa established is

provided within said area is the study, design, construction, maintenance,
and the operation of a sanitary sewer service pursuant ~o Government
Code §25210o~(a)o
6. That a tax sufficient to pay for all such services
which are furnished on an extended basis sh.all be annually levied
upon all taxable property within said area.
7o That said county service area is established for all
purposes subject only to compliance with the requir:ements of
Chapter 8, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code and subject to
the provisions of Article 2,5, Chapter 2,2, Part 2, Division 2;
Title 3 of the Goverivnent Code of the State of California.
