1. The Contractor agrees to indemnify, defend and save harmless the State, its oflicers, agents
and employees from any and all claims and losses accruing or resu]ting to any and all contractors,
subcontraetors, materialmen, laborers and any other person, firm or corporatioa furnishing or
supplying work, services; materials or suppfies in connection with the performance of this contract,
and from ~ny and all claims and Iosses accruing or resulting to any person, $rm ox corporation

all of Contractor's expenses incarred in the performance hereof, including tr2vel and per diem,
