indigent deceased persons, and
WHEREAS, the California licensed Morticians and licensed
Mortuaries in the County of Butte agree to provide the folZowing:
1. To embalm all bodies that are in a condit~on pe~mitting,
2. 2n cases where said deceased has no clothing suitable
for burial pu~poses, to furnish underwear, socks,
robe or ladies gown proper for burial and ta dress
the body with the same.
3. To nse a standard County Casket.
4. To provide transportation for the purpose of conveying
said body to its place of burial.
and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to compensate the morticians
performing the above services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Butte, State of California, that ~he follow-
ing fees shall be paid to the mortician rendering sexvice for
the burial of indigent deceased persons as follows:

1. Stillborn $50.00
2. Under one year $100.00
3. Over one year $250.00
4. Mileage 25~~mile after
f irst 1.0 miles
5. Charge for release to
another mortuary
6. Cases under medical
care requiring autopsy
7. Removal Pouches {as required)
