3 of the Government Code of the State of Calz~ornia, the Board of
5upervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establislunent of a county service araa within the County of B~tte;
and
WHEREAS, the ZOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION of the
Coun~y'of Butte has approved the establ~.shment of said Se~vice Area
No. 47.
NOW, ~HEI2EFORE, BE IT RESOLVEll by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of Califor~~a, as follows:
1. That a county service area is proposed to be established
under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated a~ea
of Bntte County; the boundary lines of the terrftories proposed for
inclusion in the area are more pa~ticula~ly described in Exhibit ~~A'~'
attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as though fu11y
set forth verbatim and at length.
2. That the proposed name for said county service is
County Service Area No. 47.
3. That there are no extended county services provided in
this area.
4. That the types of extended caunty sex~rices proposed
to be provided in this area is storm drain maintenance pursuant to
Government Code §25210.4(a), located within the boundari~es of
the a~ea described herein.
5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such services wha.ch
are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon all
taxable property within such areas.
