SECTION A. The Covnty hereby agrees as follows: lo To certify households eligib~.e for ~'ood stamp coupons (hereinafter referred to as coupons) which shal]. be ev~.denced by the issuance to such households of au~horization as he~einafter describedy and to issue an ~dentif~cation card to each such household. This ~.$entification card shall cantain space for the signature of tach person who may regularly obtain coupons far~he househoZd~ hereinafter referred to as a partic9.pant. 2e To prov3de participants wxth authorizations whick~ shal~ constitute authority to '~he agent for issuance of coupons. ~ ~.tch authorizations to include: a. The fee shall be ~, 80 per ~raxzsaat~.on. SECTIOJ~i B. In consideration of the ~oregoing undertakings by the County9 ~he Agent hereby agrees as follows: 1o To periodically requ~.sition coupons? and to main~ain a s~.fficien~ inven~ory~ fox issuance of eligible participant . 2. To make security provisions to safeguard coupons and cash received and ~o protect against loss by f ire, ~heft~ or dishonesty or~ the part of the Agen.tTs empl.oyses or othex causes. 3, To supply the coun~y Wi.th a list of all the Agent's branches authorized to issue coupons. ~'his listing of ou~lets may be added to or deleted from upnn request and approva~ of bo~h part~es concerned without affecting the basic agreement as agreed hereino ~-~-. To make coupons availabZe for sa].e to authorized p~rticipa ts duri.ng the Agen~'s regular.office hours, but in no case sha~.J. the hours be less than ten (IO) a.m. through three -2- 1 (3} p.~., Monday thrnugh ~riday~ sxc~uding federal ho~iday . 2 5. To provide protective s~orage Sor9 and del~very of 3 coupons to a branch charged.with respons~b~lity for 4 i5suing coupons to eligible participantso 5 5. SECTTON C. The parties to this contract herehy mutually agree: l. That this contract sha1~ be effective from 19_, except that after thirty (30) days o~ operation~ the fee schedu].e and any other matter rrray be reviewed at ~he request of either party'. Such ch.arxges, i.~' any, to constitute an amendment to this a~reement. Such agreement and/or amendments to remain in force vntil such da~e wh~ the Government o~' the United States shall discontinue ~he Food 8tamp Program in the area or areas in which the ag~nt has an of~'ice or offices and wYzich has been designated as a Food Staanp Program area. 2.. That this contract may be terminated by eithex~ ~arty goving sixty (60) days' notice thereof in wri~ing.
