RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE
BOARD TO EXECUTE GRANT APPLIGATION ON
BEHALE' OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, the California Council on Criminal Justice
m~y consent to review for possible funding the project submitted
by the Butte County Health Department referred to as Butte County
Drug Resource Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman of
this Board is directed to execute and submit to the Cali~'ornia
Council on Criminal Justice on behalf of the County of Butte, the
application for grant for law en~orcement purposes.
_ BE I'F FURTHER RESOLV~1] that in the event the California
Council on Criminal Jus~i.ce consents to fund the above project, the
County of Butte agrees to accept the grant and designates Art
Gilman, Chairman of the Board, to execute on behalf of the County
of Butte the contract for the grant for law enforcement purposes.
BE IT FURT~ RLSOLVED that the applicant agrees to
provide ~he required matching funds ta said project.
BE IT FURTHEI2 RESOLVED that grant funds received
hereunder shall not be used to supp~.ant ongoing J.aw enforcement
expenditures.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Super-
visors this 3"r.d day of October, 1972, by the following vote:
