HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-183~!~ , ~2esolufion No. 72-183 RESOLUTIOI~ ~STABLISFiING PRECINCT, APPOINTING MEMBERS OF PRECINCT BOARDS, D~S~GNATZNG POLLING PLACES AND AUTHORIZING CANV~.SS Ok' RETURNS FOR NOVEMBER 7, 1972 ELECTTON WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to establish and create one new election precinct, appoint members of the several p~ecinct boards and designate the pol~.ing places fo~ the el.ection to be held on November 7, 1972, and WHEREAS, it is desirable to order the Butte County Clerk to canvass the returns of said November 7, 1972 election, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDLRED AND R.ESQLVED BY ~iE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SUTTE, STATE OF CALIFdRNIA, as £oI.lows: l. That a new election precinct to be known as Precinct No. 50I3 is created whase boundaries are as described in the 1ega1 deseription attached hereto as F,~hibit '~A'~ and incorporated herein by,this referenca. 2, That as a result of th.e establishment of Precinct No. 5013 the boundaries af precinct numbers 503.4 and 5050 a~e ordered cl~anged to conform to the legal descriptions attached hereto as Exhibits '"B~p and '~C" respecti.vely. . 3o That those persons whose names appear on the pages attached hereto as Exhibit f4D~~ and incorporated herein by this reference are ` appoin~ted members of the respecka~ve precinct boards for the November 7, i972 election. 4. That those ~.ocations which appear on the pages attached hereto as Exhibit '~D°u and incorporated herein by this reference are designated as the o~fi~ial polling places tor the November 7; 1972, election. 5.
