Home My WebLink About72-189.. ~ r Resolufion R~SOLUTION ESTABLISHING COUNTY SERVICE AREA TO BE ENTITLED "COUNTY SERVICE AREA N'0. 47x~ (Gaverrunent Code §§25210,I et se ) WHEREAS, hereto~ore, on the _19~h day o~ ^ September , 1972,the Board of Supervisors of the Cocuzty of Butte, State of Cali£ornia, adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Infi ention to establish a county service area to be entitled ~'COUNTY SERVICE AI2EA N0. 47"'; and WHEREAS, said Resolution tixed the 24th day of October , 1972, at I1:00 a.m., of said day, in the Board of Supervisors Room of the Butte County Courthouse, in the City of Oroville, State of Cali.fornia, as the time and place for the public hearing on the estab7.ishment of said. area; and WHEREAS, said board, at said time and place, proceeded fia hear arguments both £or and against the establishment of said area; and WHEREAS, no written protests against the establishment th.ereof were filed in accordance with §25210.17 of the Government Code, NOW, THEI2~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super- visors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: l. That said Board hereby tinds and determines that proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to §25210.1 et seq of the Governmen~ Code, and that publication and n.otices were given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and determines th.at th,e extent to which the services described in the Resolution of Inten- tian are extended county services; 2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said county service area. 3. That the boundaries of said service area are hereby ~inally determined and established as the same as are shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference and made a part o£ this resolution. 4. That the name of said service area so established a.s "COUN'TY SERVICE ARFA N0. 47'~. 5o That the type of extended county services to be pravided within said area is storm drain maintenance pursuant to Government Code §252Z0.4(a). 6. That a tax sut~icienfi to pay for al1 such services which are furnished on an extended basis sha7.1 be annually ievied upon all taxable property within said area. 7. That said c`ounty service area is established for a17. purposes subject only to compliance with the requirements of Chapter $, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code and subject to the provisions of Article 2,5, Chapter 2,2~ Part 2s Division 2, Titie 3 0~ the Government Code of the S~ate of California.
