§830.11 of the Pena1 Code was added to permit the designation o~
certain classes in the Welfare Department as peace o~~icers;
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOLV~D by this Board:
l. Thst actin~ pursuant to the authari~y con~ained in
§830.11 of the Penal Code of the State of California, that ~ull-~iime,
regular employees of the Butte County We7.fare Department serving
in the classification of Welfare Fraud Investigator are hereby
designated as peace officers for purposes of said §830.1J. of tne
Penal Code, and are hereby additionally designated as peace offxcers
for purposes of §§171c, 17Id, 12027 and 12031 of the Penal Code.
PASSED AN- ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 30th day of November 9 1972, by the fol7.owing vote:
AYES: 5upervisors Ladd, Madigan, McKillop and Chairman Gilman
NOES: None
JABSENT: Supervisor Maxon
