THE PRESEN.[' ADI`1INISTER~NG BOARD, AS THE COMMLTNITY
ACTION AGENCY FOR THE COUN'TY OF BU'~TE~ _w
BE 2T RESOLVED by this Board:
1. Tha~t notice ot intention by this Board to opt ou~ as
Community Action Agency for the County of Butte and to designate the
Batte County Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. as the Communa.ty Action
Agency for the Economic Opportunity program is hereby made pursuant to
OEO Instruction 6302-2.
2. That pursuant to the aforesaid OEO I~s~truction, a public
hearing shall be held on January 23, 1972, at 1:30 p.m, in the Board of
Supervisors Chambers, 1859 Bird Street, Courthouse, Oroville, California,
at which time and place the Bo~rd of Supervisors W~ii consider the
question to opt aut o£ the pxogram and to designate the Butte County
Economic Opportunity Council, znc., a non-profit corporation, and
presently the administering board for the Board of Supervisors acting
as Community Action Agency, as the Communi~ty Action A~ency ~o~ Butte
County.
3. That the County Administrative Officer is directed to
publish and post this resolution and to refer it to the appropria~e
governmenta~ entities all pursuant to the provisions of OEO I~struction
6302-2.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 12th day af ~ necember~~ 1972, by rhe following vote:
