AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CAI,IFO1dNIA, PURSUAi~TT TO ORDINANCE
NOS. X75 AND 522 OF 51LTD COUNTY
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Eutte, State of California, under
and pursuant to Ordinance X75 of said County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance
of said County as amended by Ordinance ,522 of said County, Does Ordain as follows:
SECTIOTd 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the County of Butte,
State of California, sha11 be zoned as an "A-R" (Agricultural Residential) District
as hereinafter described and subject to a11. of .the restricted uses applicable to
an "A-R" District, said area so zoned being located south of the City of Chico,
California, described particularly as follows:
The Rancho Roblados Subdivision as shown on that certain
map or plat thereof on file and of xecord in the office
of the Planning Commission of Butte County, State of California
SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an "A-R" District:
~2.1 Uses•Permitted:
(1) One-family dwellings, not including tents or trailers.
(2) Accessory buildings pertinent to permitted uses.
(3) Agricultural uses, except livestock and poultry farming.
2.2 The following uses subject to the securing of a use permit in each case:
(1) Two-family dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.
(2) Golf courses and country clubs.
(3) Public and quasi--public uses including churches, fire houses,
hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public utility
buildings.
(~) Private stables.
(5) Poultry farming and livestock farming.
(6) .Veterinary clinics.
2.3 P4inimum building site area required: Eight thousand, one hunared
and twenty-five (8,125) square feet.
2.4 RIinimum building site width required: Sixty-five (65) feet.
2.5 l~Sinimum front yeard required: T4renty-five (25) feet.
2.6 1~Lznimum side yard required: Six (6} feet.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized
and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION ~. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed upon
said district shall be as provided in the said Zoning Enabling Ordinance.

SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full
force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage,
and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this~Ordinance
shall be published once iritli the names of the members voting for and against it
in the Chico Enterprise , a newspaper published in the County of
Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTID by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, this 30th day of October , 1961 by the following vote;
